To make something clear, these aren't my most hated films, although some would fall into that category, they are just films that I believe have had more critic or moviegoer praise than they deserved.
After watching a couple of so called masterpieces recently, I realised there are a lot of critic opinions that I don't agree with. So, at the risk of causing some serious arguments, here is a list of films people love, but I absolutely hate. Enjoy!
The Matrix
All I got from this was a special effects laden bore fest. I'm not a massive fan of Sci-fi, but even so, this is one of the worst I've seen.
Snatch / Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
I've included these together as, for me, they are both as bad as each other. They deliver exactly the same material, filled with tedious scripts, some awful acting, unfunny jokes and gratuitous violence. Dreadful.
Blade Runner
To say I hate Blade Runner may be a dit of an exaggeration, but I'm not fond of it at all. To see it so highly rated pretty much everywhere has compelled me to add it to this list. I just find it so incredibly boring. The story moves at a snails pace and Harrison Ford is hardly on top form. The ending is reasonable but by the time it comes along, I've sat through two hours of tedious story and in truth, I'm past caring.
Cool Hand Luke
Like many films on this list, Cool Hand Luke is just plain boring. Two hours of a drab story about a guy making wisecracks and trying to escape the chain gang. No thanks.
Slumdog Millionaire
To be fair, everything Danny Boyle seems to touch ends up being overrated. Slumdog Millionaire is no exception. There are so many questionable plot decisions here that I just lost patience with it. One day, I may end up liking a Danny Boyle film, but i'm not holding my breath.
Transformers 1-3
My most hated film franchise ever. These sum up the demise of modern day society. Long, terribly acted, awfully written mindless robot violence. Each one sinks to a new low and i'm astounded to how anyone can claim to like them.
Rebecca
Hitchcock's camerawork and direction save this from being a disaster. The script is downright awful and the story is far too drawn out. One of the masters worst cinematic ventures.

with you 100% on slumdog! And here I thought I was the only one who hated it! The Matrix is tricky, they should have stopped with the first one, the sequals are poor, but the first had a good script once you got your head around it. Snatch/Lock Stock is marmite I think. Blade runner is a complete waste of 117 mins. Transformers...I have the blu ray trilogy, but more as a visual/audio tech demo than any real film value.
